As well as our support for Scotland’s existing National Parks, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs and the Cairngorms, the SCNP is actively involved in the following campaigns.
A Strategy for National Parks (terrestrial and marine) for Scotland – SCNP has entered into a partnership with the Association for the Protection of Rural Scotland (APRS) to establish the case and generate public demand for a Strategy for future national parks across Scotland and its surrounding coast and seas.

Saving Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park – SCNP is working with the ‘Save Your Regional Park’ group (SYRP) to prevent the unnecessary industrialisation and despoliation of the Regional Park by wind turbines and associated infrastructure.
